  • We get our name from the shape of our saunas! Each of our locations is home to various sizes of woodburning barrel saunas.

  • We offer individual cold plunges at a range of temperatures to help provide everyone with an experience that suits your needs and preferences.

  • Our cold showers are an option to help you cool down from the heat as well as a way that we help to keep our plunges clean for everyone. Please rinse off between your sauna and the plunge <3

  • Dundrum, Greystones and Tallaght all provide individual and covered changing stalls with doors for your privacy. Lockers are provided, please bring your own lock if you would like the additional security.

  • Comfortable seating areas and benches are located around our spaces for you to take a break, or hangout for a bit after your session. We stagger our booking times so that you don’t feel rushed when you’re done.

Welcome to The Barrel Sauna, the culmination of over 20 years sweating, 10 years dreaming and several years of work. All born out of a passion for sauna.

We aim to reintroduce sauna use to the community as a regular practice and provide a safe space for people to learn more about sweating and how it can be of benefit in their own life.
